Start a Confidential Conversation →The Milling family brings more than two decades of experience as business founders and operators. Our approach is grounded in the discipline of long-term stewardship.
For more than two decades, the Milling family was involved in the development and operation of the Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa in Wakefield, Quebec—transforming a historic 19th-century stone mill into one of the region's most recognized boutique hospitality destinations. The property expanded to include guest accommodations, restaurants, event spaces, and a full service spa.
The business was successfully transitioned to new ownership in 2025. This experience reflects our family's commitment to building businesses with long-term vision, operational discipline, and strong ties to the local community.
We acquire businesses with the intention of owning them for decades, not years. Our objective is to build upon the foundation established by the current owner while supporting continued growth and stability.
Our family has firsthand experience building and operating businesses. This perspective informs how we evaluate opportunities and how we support the companies we acquire.
We focus on businesses located in the Ottawa–Gatineau region and surrounding communities. Maintaining strong local relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers is central to our approach.
